They're a bit heavier due to the more aggressive, durable sole and heavier leather, but I'm happy to pay that price for more longevity. The leather blows lem's leather away, the vibram sole is obviously more durable than lem's injected foam nonsense, and they immediately feel great. Pretty excessively long wait, but fortunately they fit well, don't require a return for size, and seems to be extremely well made. These seem much better made than lem's, I was kind of impressed, but looked to dainty and euro for my security job requirements, so I returned them and wore my som Norwoods while waiting for the nimbkes to arrive. Well, that wasn't the case, and my lem's were falling off my feet, so I ordered a pair of vivobarefoot Scott's. I've torn through 5 pairs of lem's Boulder boots, and while I like the fit, the quality isn't good, they basically last a year, and tend to separate prematurely where the sole bonds to the upper.
